Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, including washing dishes, pots, pans, and utensils.
Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and assembling dishes.
Ensure all food handling practices comply with safety and sanitation regulations.
Support the serving staff by providing timely assistance during meal service.
Clean kitchen equipment and work areas regularly to maintain a safe working environment.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during peak hours.
Requirements
Previous restaurant or hotel experience preferred, with a focus on kitchen operations.
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
Familiarity with food handling safety standards and sanitation practices.
Strong cleaning skills to maintain a tidy work environment.
