Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cook/Dishwasher to join our team in a dynamic kitchen environment. This role is essential in maintaining the smooth operation of our food service, ensuring that both cooking and dishwashing tasks are performed efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a commitment to cleanliness and organization.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, marinating proteins, and assembling ingredients.
Ensure all food handling practices meet health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Monitor inventory levels of kitchen supplies and report any shortages to management.
Maintain a clean work area by following sanitation guidelines and cleaning up spills promptly.
Requirements
Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred, with a strong understanding of food service operations.
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
Ability to handle food safely and maintain high hygiene standards.
Experience in hospitality or hotel environments is a plus.
Strong cleaning skills with attention to detail in maintaining kitchen cleanliness.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
