Job Description

This is a hybrid back-of-house position responsible for dishwashing, maintaining cleanliness throughout the kitchen, and providing basic prep support. The role ensures smooth kitchen operations by keeping all areas clean, organized, and service-ready.

Key Responsibilities:


Dishwashing



Operate commercial dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools. Sort, stack, and store clean items properly in designated areas. Maintain a clean and organized dish pit at all times.

Cleaning & Sanitation



Sweep, mop, wipe, and sanitize kitchen floors, counters, equipment, and high-touch areas. Empty garbage, recycling, and organics as required. Assist with cleaning washrooms, storage areas, and staff zones when needed. Follow all sanitation and food-safety procedures, ensuring compliance with health standards.

Prep Support



Assist prep cooks by washing, peeling, chopping, or portioning ingredients as directed. Label, store, and rotate food according to safety guidelines. Support line cooks during peak periods with simple prep tasks.

General Duties



Report any equipment issues or safety concerns to management. Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude and support kitchen operations during busy service periods.

Qualifications:



Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Strong attention to cleanliness and organization. Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to follow instructions. Previous experience in dishwashing or kitchen work is an asset, but not required.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
