Job Description

Danish Pastry House in Mississauga/Oakville border is looking for a weekend dishwasher and facility cleaner. Shifts are 8am to 4pm Saturday and Sunday with options as a back up cleaner for weekdays.

Primary functions include:

scraping food from aluminum trays, washing and sanitizing Washing pots, mixing bowls, pans, baking equipment and trays based on assigned procedures. Ensure complete cleanliness and sanitation. Surface cleaning Bakery machinery ranging from tables and mixers to ovens and proofers Maintain temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by provided standards. Keep dish area orderly and in compliance with safety standards. Maintain general sanitary conditions throughout facility Sweep and mop kitchen, coolers, and washroom floors to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards

Qualifications:

Willing to work in fast paced environment. Previous dishwashing or cleaning experience within a manufacturing environment preferred. Hands-on experience with industrial washing machines an asset. Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position. A reliable means of transportation to work for a 6am start weekdays and weekends

As a Dishwasher/Cleaner, you will be essential in maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment, ensuring that all dishware and utensils are properly cleaned and sanitized. Reporting to the kitchen manager, your core responsibilities will include dishwashing and maintaining a sanitary work environment throughout the kitchen area. Your premium skills in cleaning and kitchen experience, along with relevant skills in food preparation and food handling, will contribute to the overall success of our growing company.
