Acquia\'s product organization is seeking a Director of Product Management to handle and grow our $100M+ Cloud portfolio. This individual will be responsible for developing product strategy across a rolling six to eighteen month time frame defining the approach, handling the financial growth, and ensuring we are constantly passionate about solving our customer\'s and partner\'s hairiest challenges. You will meet with customers and our partners regularly to inform and validate our product strategy and roadmap. You will also lead and partner closely with internal teams to execute against our product strategy, ensuring we are prioritizing capabilities that will deliver the most value to our customers.

This position will be reporting directly to the VP of Product Management, and will have the opportunity to present your strategy directly to executive leadership articulating product strategy and defending product growth expectations. They will work alongside Product Marketing to develop a go-to-market and expansion strategy. Let\'s build something great together!

As the Director of Product Management, you will...

  • Build, mentor, and lead a team of Product Managers across Acquia Drupal Cloud portfolio.
  • Establish the product vision, strategy, metrics, and goals for your product areas
  • Define and deliver compelling product roadmaps based on customer needs and strategic opportunities
  • Build alignment across product teams and cross-functional leaders through clear communication and strategic influence
  • Partner with functions across the company (Engineering and Design, Sales, Marketing, Enterprise Technology) peers to execute on the plan
  • Connect the dots across experiences and teams to create a cohesive customer experience
  • Implement best in class product development and management practices
  • Work with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders (Operations, Support, etc) to define the product experience, bridging high-level business requirements and functional specifications to ensure clear communication and coordination across business, engineering, operations and support teams
  • Develop business case justification and financials to support investments in platform
  • Communicate roadmap and technical capabilities to customers, partners, and internal stakeholders
  • Assess current and new technologies and market/industry trends to instruct platform strategy
  • Provide transparency into the product life cycle process by making available progress reports and publishing key performance metrics
  • Handle rapid prototyping activities and facilitate data driven decision process while following Lean UX and Agile principles
  • Work closely with stakeholders, partners, and customers to understand requirements and priorities
  • Identify, assess, manage and escalate risks and impediments, as well as drive and manage change across the board
We\'re looking for collaborative people who have...
  • 6+ years of product management experience, managing software products from inception through launch and iteration
  • 3+ years experience building, mentoring, and leading a world-class team of Product Managers and delivering business results
  • Strong track record of of product leadership and end to end ownership of pricing and packaging, product optimization & experiments, Saas, Ecommerce, or platform/internal tooling experiences
  • Experience in high growth environments, particularly in SaaS and with areas of the product that are revenue sensitive
  • Experience in writing business cases and crafting pricing strategies / models
  • Experience in software / technology firms is required, SaaS or PaaS
  • Ability to prioritize while balancing complex technical and business requirements
  • Outstanding verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Demonstrated analytical skills and ability to coordinate and lead cross-functional teams
  • Experience with Cloud technologies, web content management, distributed systems, and the latest trends in digital experience management
  • Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills with audiences ranging from developer to executive
  • Passion to improve processes, increase velocity, and promote empathetic, collaborative relationships a requirement
Extra credit if you have...
  • Experience with FedRAMP, HIPAA, SOC1, SOC2, and other compliance regulations and security protocols a plus
