Job Description


***This is a 100% in office position.

Reporting to the CEO, and in accordance with the company\'s Policy, Practice & Procedure Manual, the purpose of this position is to provide leadership and management of the organization\'s people and culture. The Director is responsible for facilitating overall organizational effectiveness in all aspects of Human resources and decision support service teams to support the delivery of efficient, people-centered, quality services. The position provides strategic leadership as well as tactical HR expertise in the formulation and implementation of the Organization\'s strategies on people management, health and safety, labour relations, and performance measurement.

The Director will provide leadership, supervision to the Human Resource department and as part of the Senior Management Team (SMT). The Director, People and Culture leads with a passion for building talent and shaping culture to optimize the employee experience in creating a great place to work.

\xc2\xb7 Hold a Master\'s degree or its equivalent, in Human Resources Management, Organizational Development, Social Sciences, Business Administration, Public Sector Management or related discipline.

\xc2\xb7 Ten (10) years\' experience in a Human Resource leadership role

\xc2\xb7 A minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience with People and Culture Management processes and tools, or other related fields.

\xc2\xb7 Experience with collective bargaining and labour relations.

\xc2\xb7 Experience in a non-profit environment a definite asset.

\xc2\xb7 Government sector experience will be an added advantage
