Role Description

We are looking for a Director of Treasury, reporting to the CFO. The Treasury Director\xe2\x80\x99s primary objective is to provide strategic leadership in working capital management and global oversight in the areas of banking and treasury management, debt management, liquidity management, and payments. This role will be responsible for the cash management of the company and will work closely with finance to forecast and manage free cash flow and cash balance.

This is a remote role. The position may be based anywhere in the US or Canada

What you will do

  • Develop and execute the global treasury vision and strategy
  • Manage short term and long-term cash flow forecasting processes
  • Ensures consistent execution and efficient use of cash globally while overseeing the near term and long-term cash forecasting processes to provide management with the necessary information needed to make business critical decisions
  • Design and implement FX hedging strategies.
  • Perform convertible debt related analysis to assess dilution and profitability impacts
  • Directing appropriate mix of debt and equity for capital planning
  • Provide guidance for payments best practices to the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivables teams
  • Partner with AP & AR teams to drive free cash flow improvement
  • Work closely with FP&A to ensure alignment between the direct cash and balance sheet models to ensure accurate cash forecasting.
  • Execution of projects related to continuous improvement and updating of treasury processes and systems
  • Work with all areas of the business to drive working capital improvement and improve the company\xe2\x80\x99s overall liquidity
  • Ensure key SOX controls are met in the areas of Treasury including debt, payments, and intercompany loans
  • Oversee global banking relationships and managing the company\xe2\x80\x99s national and international banking operations; seeing to it that all funds are appropriately banked ensuring efficiency and returns
  • Responsible for interest and debt analysis, including debt covenant reporting
What you will need to succeed
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business
  • 10+ years of experience in finance, FP&A, treasury, with a minimum of 5+ years of experience in a corporate treasury role
  • Hands-on experience in cash management, credit arrangements, banking, cash/liquidity management and intercompany relationships. Multi-national experience preferred, foreign exchange a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, econometrical, and statistical skills.
  • Able to anticipate financial risks and builds plans to mitigate those risks
  • Ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects, and execute swiftly with attention to detail in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • CTP - Certified Treasury Professional/ CPA/ CFA is preferred.
Travel

You will be required to occasionally travel to Harmonic\xe2\x80\x99s HQ in San Jose, CA.
