We are dedicated to creating a dynamic, inclusive, and supportive environment where Jewish students can explore and celebrate their identity through a wide array of programs and activities.Key Responsibilities

  • Design and oversee a broad range of student-centered programs and events.
  • Lead and mentor a team of 5 programming staff, fostering an environment of growth and collaboration.
  • Develop strategies to engage uninvolved student populations, creating welcoming pathways into the Jewish community.
  • Forge key partnerships with university professionals to enhance program planning and execution.
  • Actively participate in budgeting and development activities under the guidance of the Executive Director.
  • Spearhead Hillel BC\'s advocacy efforts on campus in collaboration with local and national partners.
  • Respond effectively to anti-Israel and antisemitic incidents, coordinating with both students and external partners.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor\'s degree required; Master\'s degree or professional Jewish organizational experience preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in experiential education, leadership development, or engagement.
  • Deep understanding of Jewish traditions, practices, and the ability to facilitate meaningful conversations.
  • Self-motivated, creative, and reflective with outstanding interpersonal skills.
  • Must possess a vehicle for community engagement and program facilitation.
