Being responsible as a part of a team that is growing and developing a client base, the Director of Sales for Metroland Parcel Services is focused on continuously increasing sales revenue and maintaining strong business relationships with top tier retail companies and parcel aggregators. This individual is accountable for acquiring new accounts for our parcel service business through various strategies including generating leads, networking with key decision makers and active research. This position will provide candidates with the opportunity to join one of Canada\'s leading media companies.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Strategically oversee the organization\'s Sales budget and forecast.
  • Recruit, develop, motivate and coach a proficient team of account executives.
  • Attain organizational milestones through meticulous planning, team goal setting, and data analysis.
  • Cultivate enduring client relationships through consultative engagement.
  • Drive lead generation, conversion, and client acquisition.
  • Proficiently manage accounts to foster business expansion.
  • Detect organizational void and engineer comprehensive remedial strategies.
  • Forge collaborative partnerships with interdepartmental units.
  • Embrace a dual role as both player and coach, responsible for individual and team success.
  • Evaluate and propose enhancements to the current sales strategy.
Qualifications
  • Possess a minimum of three years of successful sales experience, accompanied by a track record of consistently surpassing sales targets. Previous involvement in the parcel service or e-commerce fulfillment industry is considered an asset.
  • Display adeptness in utilizing Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and technical proficiencies.
  • A self-motivated and dynamic sales expert, adept at working autonomously.
  • An engaging sales professional with the determination to engage key decision-makers is imperative.
  • Exhibit a robust technological acumen, coupled with the capacity to elucidate our platform requirements to prospective clients.
  • Proficiency in adaptive thinking and effectiveness in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, capable of effectively managing multiple tasks.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills underscored by a constructive demeanor.
  • Display excellent customer service skills to adeptly handle diverse customer requisites.
