Reporting to the CEO, our new Director of Sales will have primary P&L responsibility for this important division that serves the promotional product distributor market and customers who resell our products directly to consumers as a compliment to their other products or services.

Through direct engagement and working with your team you will be responsible for new customer acquisition strategies and outbound sales initiatives that attract new customers in both of these segments and build momentum and engagement for our "PromotedYou\xe2\x80\x9d programs. You will inherit a robust and knowledgeable inside sales team that has garnered deep affection from our existing customers and is ready to take on new markets. Your experience and perspective on the Promotional Products industry will be key to enabling you and your team to compellingly communicate the value proposition of our technology driven affordability advantage in custom stickers as well our breakthrough sticker innovations to sales reps, distributors and buying groups.

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll do

  • Lead and grow a high-performing Account Management & Business Development team of 6 people.
  • Develop and improve our customer acquisition and sales strategy, providing definition and implementation of the plan at all levels of the organization.
  • Actively engage with potential StickerYou customers in person, at trade shows, and online/phone to understand their needs and leverage our products/solutions to create stronger customer engagement
  • Use a consultative, solution selling capability to develop compelling business cases to differentiate (based on our unique customer needs) and highlight the value of StickerYou\'s broad portfolio of products
  • Blend your experience, skill, personality and passion with our product solution advantages to excite and win over new customers.
  • Lead by example and exceed individual/group sales targets supported by timely sales reporting
  • Collaborate with senior leadership on operational issues to help improve performance or solve challenges.
  • Provide customer insights to the Reseller Division and Leadership teams that optimize opportunities.
  • Mentor, provide leadership and guidance to keep sales, marketing and operations teams engaged and motivated and empower team members to apply creative and critical thinking to their execution.
  • Advocate and represent the sales organization internally, provide insight and analytics against team performance and objectives
Who you are:

You\'re a creative AND analytical individual who understands how to leverage every step in the sales funnel for the Promotional Product industry to better manage and grow accounts. (e.g. national, regional, trade shows, buying office visits, virtual meet-ups and marketing methods)

You\'re an experienced builder with a focus on results and passion for sales leadership, operational efficiency, and customer engagement.

You have a track record of inspiring teams to continuously learn and excel at collaboration.

You have proven your ability to deliver terrific results in this industry.

Key Competencies:
  • Expert communication skills and styles, both written and verbal. Demonstrated ability to effectively present information to internal and external team members.
  • Outbound sales execution playbook and execution experience with relevant industry buyers and a proven track record.
  • A strong (and innate) desire to collaborate with other high performing teams (both direct and indirect)
  • Comfortable with change and testing new ideas, and working collaboratively to come up with solutions
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends and make data-guided outcomes/and decisions based on these insights
  • High emotional intelligence to guide client interaction and people management
  • Strong organizational design and sales analytical skills, effectively define targets and build teams to achieve them.
