Job Title: Director of Public Relations (DPR) Organization: Canadian Adventure Charters Inc. Location: Newfoundland, Canada About Us: Canadian Adventure Charters Inc. is a distinguished provider of immersive travel experiences, specializing in adventure tours across the awe-inspiring landscapes of Canada. Canadian Adventure Charters Inc. is spearheading the development of a groundbreaking Mega Port-Seaside Resort, a state-of-the-art Green/Blue infrastructure facility. This ambitious project, in collaboration with our partners Continental Climate Construction and RedHawk, will offer maritime and surface adventures, super luxury yacht and submersible charters, educational programs, and climate and marine research facilities. The objective is to actively contribute to the development of the Green and Blue Economy, valued at $24 trillion. Position Overview: We are currently seeking an innovative and dynamic leader to join our team as the Director of Public Relations. This pivotal role involves shaping and implementing our public relations strategy, fostering positive relationships with stakeholders, and elevating the visibility of Canadian Adventure Charters and our partnering companies Continental Climate Construction and RedHawk. Key Responsibilities: Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer and Board of Directors, the Director of Public Relations will: \xe2\xa6\x81 Devise and execute comprehensive public relations strategies to enhance the brand and offerings of Canadian Adventure Charters Inc. and partners. \xe2\xa6\x81 Cultivate strong relationships with media outlets, influencers, and key industry partners to secure positive coverage and partnerships. \xe2\xa6\x81 Lead the planning and execution of press events, product launches, and promotional campaigns. \xe2\xa6\x81 Effectively manage crisis communications and ensure a positive public image for the organization. \xe2\xa6\x81 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align public relations efforts with overall marketing and business objectives. \xe2\xa6\x81 Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and challenges. Oversee all CAC-CCC-RedHawk Government Affairs and Public Policy. Represent CAC externally at all levels with government, regulators, and third-parties. Manage the team of policy professionals, determine and execute key policy campaigns in-country, and coordinate with cross-functional peers locally and globally within CAC-CCC-RedHawk\'s global Government Affairs and Public Policy organization. Qualifications: The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience and knowledge within the following: \xe2\xa6\x81 Successful portfolio building and managing 100 Fortune public trading corporations, including private and non-profit, for a minimum of 15 years. \xe2\xa6\x81 Working with Public Relations (PR), Investor Relations (IR), & Stakeholders, networking, and building partner relations with 100 & 500 Fortune Companies, managing $1B-$10B annual portfolios. \xe2\xa6\x81 Proven experience in a senior public relations role within Mega-Port-Seaside Resort Green/Blue Development, Super Luxury Yachting Travel and Tourism, Climate Change-Global Warming & Marine Research, Treasure, Artifacts, and High-Value Cargo Shipwreck Recovery, IT-Artificial Intelligence-Digital Marketing, Community Economic and Social Development, Emergency Management Preparedness, New Housing-New Jobs-New Transportation, Healthcare, CETA Trade Agreement between Canada and Europe, Employment & Immigration, Environmental Programs and Support. \xe2\xa6\x81 Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. \xe2\xa6\x81 Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities. \xe2\xa6\x81 Demonstrated success in executing successful public relations campaigns. \xe2\xa6\x81 Crisis management expertise and the ability to navigate challenging situations diplomatically. \xe2\xa6\x81 A creative and strategic mindset with a focus on innovation. We are seeking candidates for a position where proficiency in a minimum of four languages is essential.
