Position: Director of Operations Area of Expertise: Operations Location: Ottawa Start: As soon as possible Salary Range: $120,000 - $140,000 Job Type: Permanent, full-time The Opportunity Take on the direction and management of operational services of a growing IT Managed Services and Consulting Firm. This critical leadership role will work with the current administration and delivery team to enable the growth of all services. The Role and Responsibilities In this role, you take a lead role in ensuring clients\' services are delivered to the highest standard and lead employees to peak performance. It\'s important to note that this is a hands-on position, where you will actively work on writing policy and implementing procedures, analyzing and troubleshooting workflows. You will be reporting to the CEO and responsible for the efficiency and effectiveness of the overall business. You will take the initiative to improve processes and find opportunities to leverage the team\'s skills to improve what we do. Key Performance indicators include: cost and profitability, client satisfaction, staff satisfaction, and organizational risk. Key areas of responsibilities include: - Oversee daily operations of the company
- Corporate Services (Finance, Human Resources, Risk Management, Monitoring and Evaluation, Growth Strategy)
- Internal Technology (Tech Stack, Ticket Systems, Monitoring and Management Systems, Invoicing, etc.)
- Operational plans and procedures
- Service Desk Oversight
- Managed Services
- Project Management Methodology
- Customer Success (client retention, quality of service, service stability and scaling)
- Stakeholder relations Must-Have Requirements (applicants without these will not be a fit): - Experience in the Technology Consulting or Managed Services Industry
- Minimum 3 years\xe2\x80\x99 management experience as Director or Senior Manager or Senior Business Analyst
- Demonstrated understanding of business functions such as Human Resources, Finance, Technology, and Marketing, and Monitoring and Evaluation
- Working knowledge of IT/Business infrastructure and the terminology of modern IT Infrastructure systems, data analysis and performance/operations metrics
- Superior verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills in English (French is an asset)
