What we want In support of the General Manager, the Operations Manager will ensure that our guests' experience meets Nordik's quality standards. He/she will be responsible for coordinating the various activities of the guest experience, housekeeping, massage therapy and care teams. This position requires leadership and business acumen that will allow you to expertly engage our teams to deliver on our mantra of "Leave your problems behind". Your main priorities will be to recruit and lead teams across our world-class departments, maximize financial performance, promote cross-departmental collaboration and ensure the promotion of our mission. What you will do Management activities: planning, organizing and controlling

  • Provide leadership in planning, organizing and directing departmental activities to achieve the company's strategic objectives and ensure a worry-free customer experience;
  • Establish, implement and maintain processes to enhance the customer experience so they can disconnect from the worries of everyday life;
  • Ensure the planning, preparation, monitoring and control of budgets and the effective use of human, financial and material resources;
  • Analyze and regularly review the performance indicators in place in order to improve them;
  • Ensure the implementation of all defined rituals in accordance with established standards;
  • Ensure that the overall appearance of the site and guest services are in accordance with established standards;
  • Establish and ensure mechanisms are in place to manage, monitor and evaluate the overall guest experience to support our vision.
Leadership and Collaboration
  • Provide leadership in the management of executive and support staff;
  • Determine priorities, workloads and work schedules;
  • Ensure recruitment, selection, training, development and evaluation of staff;
  • Supervise staff to maintain a work environment conducive to retention and engagement;
  • Coordinate with other departments in the company on major projects and initiatives involving them and the experience.
Profile required
  • University degree in business administration, hotel or tourism management, or significant or relevant related experience;
  • At least five years of experience in managing large multidisciplinary teams, ideally in the tourism and hotel industry;
  • Strong sense of hospitality towards both clients and employees
  • Knowledge of human resources relevant to team management: labor laws, disciplinary, etc.
  • Ability to manage teams of self-employed individuals
  • Natural leader and mentor to others;
  • Ability to professionally develop the Leaders of his/her team
  • Sense of challenge, perseverance;
  • Being action and results oriented;
  • Strong organizational skills;
