Job Description


Brandt is currently looking to fill a Director of Media position located in our Regina, SK location.

The role of Director of Media will be to build and lead a team of specialized media experts to carefully plan and execute both paid and owned media strategies.

Duties & Responsibilities

Media Analytics

  • Develop, execute and maintain a scalable and comprehensive media analytics team
  • They will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing a reporting platform to ensure complete visibility to the performance of paid and owned communication channels
  • Aggregate data from third-party advertisers such as traditional outlets (print, radio, television and out of home), digital advertisers (display networks, editorials, etc.) as well as all owned communication platforms (social media, google search and display, email marketing, and more)
  • Gather and distribute this information to both reflect on past performance but more importantly to make guided recommendations for future communication strategies
  • Maintain strong and accurate dynamic ROI calculators for all media efforts
Media Planning
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with media contacts
  • Keep detailed database of media options, key metrics and necessary profiles
  • Utilize key information to work with the in-house advertising team to make strong recommendations for media mix, budgets, timing and more
  • Develop and maintain an influencer marketing strategy that supports Brandt\xe2\x80\x99s brand-building vision
Media Buying
  • Build team of Media Planners and Buyers that will act as the single point of all media purchases
  • Maintain aggregated database of historic spend by vendor to create complete visibility of Brandt\xe2\x80\x99s book of paid media
  • Lead all high-budget negotiations for annual contracts and other high-risk buys
Owned Media Management
  • Develop and lead a team of internal experts focused on the management and optimization of the following paid media channels:
  • Google Search
  • Google Display
  • Google Discovery
  • Facebook
  • Twitter
  • Instagram
  • LinkedIn
  • Snapchat
  • TikTok
  • Programmatic Audio
  • and others as strategies evolve
Content Marketing
  • Build and lead a team of content marketing experts focused in the following areas:
  • Email marketing
  • Organic social media
  • Blogs
  • Podcasts/Vlogs/Shows
  • and others as strategies evolve
  • Build a robust dynamic calendar to ensure organic pipelines always have adequate, timely and relevant content planned and prepared
  • Measure the impact of content marketing efforts to optimize ROI
