This is a highly hands-on, execution-driven leadership role.
Key Responsibilities
Overall Marketing Leadership
Own the full marketing strategy and execution for Papa's Herb and AMBR across all markets.
Oversee all brand-building activities including product launches, campaigns, promotions, and partnerships.
Ensure the company is consistently and accurately represented across every consumer touchpoint.
In-Store / Retail Partner Marketing
Develop and execute retail-marketing programs with dispensary partners across North America.
Oversee in-store assets including display stands, posters, shelf-talkers, window wraps, trade marketing kits, menus, and budtender education materials.
Create playbooks for new market launches (NY, CA, Canada, etc.).
Work closely with sales teams to support sell-through with strong POS presence and compliant packaging.
Digital & Social
Manage all digital marketing initiatives including social media, email, SMS, web content, influencer programs, and digital campaigns.
Oversee coordination with the Director of Social Media, ensuring alignment across content calendars, brand voice, and campaign messaging.
Ensure websites (Papa's Herb, AMBR, POPA) are regularly updated with new SKUs, assets, promos, and design improvements.
Brand Stewardship & Creative Direction
Maintain consistent brand identity across all platforms and all product lines.
Work hand-in-hand with design teams to ensure creative assets match brand look, feel, and standards.
Review and approve all marketing materials before deployment.
Project Management & Execution
Build and manage marketing timelines, calendars, and workflows.
Ensure all marketing projects -- digital or in-store -- are executed at a high level and on schedule.
Coordinate with internal teams (operations, sales, product, finance) and external partners (designers, printers, agencies).
Qualifications & Skills
7+ years experience
in marketing, preferably in CPG, cannabis, beverage, lifestyle, or similar.
Proven leadership in managing teams and driving projects from concept to execution.
Strong understanding of
retail marketing
and
digital marketing
, including packaging, POS, content creation, social media, and influencer activations.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Familiarity with cannabis regulations, packaging compliance, and state-by-state marketing restrictions is a strong asset.
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Strong creative eye with the ability to brief, evaluate, and refine creative work.
Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration skills.
