We're looking for a strategic, passionate, and results-driven Director of Marketing to lead our marketing team and elevate GRETA to new heights.
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Director of Marketing at GRETA Bar is a visionary leader responsible for overseeing all aspects of brand and marketing strategy across multiple locations. We are seeking an innovative and results-driven individual who is a strategic thinker with deep experience in brand positioning, digital marketing, media buying, enhancing brand awareness, team development and ultimately driving sales across various channels.
Reporting directly to the VP of Operations, the Director of Marketing will drive high-impact campaigns, manage significant budgets, lead national and local campaigns, and ensure marketing efforts translate into measurable business impact, and ensure alignment between brand vision and execution. They will oversee a diverse team of creatives, and build strong relationships with external agencies, sponsors, and community partners. Collaboration and relationship building with senior leadership across the company will also be a key to success in this role.
As GRETA continues to expand into new markets, this leader will play a critical role in market entry strategy, brand scalability, and customer engagement innovation. Success in this role requires balancing visionary thinking with hands-on execution, while fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and creativity within the marketing team.
This is a hybrid position with the ability to work remotely, but must be available to work from the store location a minimum of twice per week.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
BRAND & STRATEGY LEADERSHIP
Develop and execute a dynamic marketing strategy that aligns with GRETA's brand identity and business objective, as well as long term marketing vision for future expansion plans.
Ensure consistency in brand messaging, positioning, and visual identity across all platforms and locations.
Lead quarterly marketing meetings to review strategy, performance, and new initiatives.
Identify market trends and emerging opportunities to keep GRETA ahead of competitors.
Own and drive the long-term vision for GRETA's marketing efforts, ensuring a strong presence in all key markets.
Develop the annual marketing strategy
TEAM LEADERSHIP & DEVELOPMENT
Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing marketing team, including the Social Media Manager, and all Marketing Coordinators.
Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture that encourages creativity and strategic thinking.
Provide ongoing training and professional development opportunities for team members.
Set clear KPIs and performance goals, conducting regular check-ins and evaluations to hold the team accountable.
Collaborate closely with operations, managing partners, and HR teams to ensure marketing efforts directly support business performance and employer branding.
CAMPAIGN EXECUTION & MEDIA BUYING
Oversee the execution of high-impact marketing campaigns, from ideation to implementation.
Manage media buying strategies, ensuring efficient allocation of budgets across digital, social, out-of-home (OOH), and traditional media.
Leverage data and analytics to optimize ad spend, audience targeting, and campaign performance.
Ensure seamless execution of local and national marketing initiatives, promotions, and activations.
EXTERNAL PARTNERSHIPS & AGENCY MANAGEMENT
Manage relationships with external agencies, including PR firms, media buyers, creative partners, and influencers.
Negotiate contracts and partnerships to maximize ROI on marketing investments.
Lead marketing strategies for new market entry, store opens and expansion projects ensuring brand consistency while adapting to local market needs.
Collaborate with event partners, sponsors, and community organizations to amplify brand reach.
BUDGET & PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT
Oversee and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
Track and analyze key performance metrics, providing data-driven insights and recommendations.
Develop and present reports on campaign effectiveness, brand growth, KPIs and ROI to the executive team.
Drive a culture of data-driven decision making across the marketing department.
EVENT MARKETING & CUSTOMER ENGAGEMENT
Spearhead marketing efforts for major events, promotions, and partnerships across all GRETA locations.
Work closely with operations and events teams to drive foot traffic and enhance guest experiences.
Lead innovative marketing initiatives that engage both in-venue customers and online audiences.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
A bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field is considered an asset
5+ years of progressive marketing experience
2+ years of leadership experience, managing and developing high-performing teams
Proven success in scaling multi-location brands, ideally within hospitality, nightlife, entertainment or consumer lifestyle sectors.
Strong understanding of paid media, social media trends, influencer marketing, and PR.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive decision-making.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
Strong network within the marketing, hospitality, and entertainment industries is considered an asset
Deep experience and proven success in brand strategy, digital marketing, campaign execution, and social media
Highly data driven with the ability to build dashboards, analyze performance metrics, and make strategic, evidence based decisions
Experience managing large budgets and agency/vendor partnerships with strong contract negotiation skills
Excellent communication and relationship building skills across all levels of the organization
COMPENSATION + BENEFITS
$85,000 - $115,000 total compensation (inclusive of bonus)
