Duties
Oversee day-to-day leasing operations across the company's residential properties.
Develop and implement leasing strategies to reduce vacancy and increase tenant retention.
Lead, train, and supervise a team of leasing agents and administrators.
Coordinate all lease-up activities including marketing, tenant inquiries, showings, application review, and move-ins.
Manage property management activities, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.
Monitor market trends and set competitive rental pricing.
Resolve escalated tenant issues and support a positive tenant experience.
Collaborate with property management, maintenance, and finance teams to ensure operational excellence.
Prepare reports on occupancy, leasing activity, and staff performance for executive review.
Lead community outreach initiatives and communication strategies for multi-cultural communities.
Utilize Yardi software for property management and leasing tasks, including data entry and reporting.
Generally develop and implement operational strategies that align with company goals.
Foster strong customer relationships through excellent customer service practices.
Maintain accurate filing systems and documentation for operational processes.
Provide administrative support as needed, ensuring smooth office operations.
Train and mentor staff in office procedures, phone etiquette, and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
Collaborate with sales teams to drive business growth and enhance customer satisfaction.
Requirements
Proven experience in an operations management role or similar position within property management or related fields.
Proficient with property management and leasing software (e.g., Yardi) - (Higly Desirable)
Strong administrative experience with excellent organizational skills.
Background in sales with a focus on customer service excellence.
Exceptional negotiation skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and vendors.
Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to perform data entry accurately while managing multiple priorities effectively.
Experience working with culturally diverse communities.
Minimum 3 years of experience in residential leasing or property management, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
Proficiency in English and Spanish;
