The PrEP Clinic / Ontario Prevention Clinic +pharmacy is a province-wide leader in online HIV prevention (PrEP) and sexual health services operating since 2019. In addition to online care, we offer in-person sexual health clinics and pharmacy services in Toronto, Ottawa, and Brampton. Our inclusive space provides services to many within the LGBTQ2S+ community.
We are a highly experienced and inter-collaborative team of Nurse Practitioners, Nurses, Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians/Assistants, and Social Workers - and currently expanding our team of 60+ team members.
We are looking for a highly motivated, outgoing, creative, and team-oriented individual with strong leadership abilities to join our dynamic team in the role of Director of Pharmacy Operations and Clinic Services.

SUMMARY
In this role, you'll be the operational lead for the pharmacy and clinic admin team, combining your healthcare knowledge with strategic leadership to: ensure smooth day-to-day performance, guide the growth of the organization, cultivate a strong workplace culture, and maintain exceptional patient experiences. You'll play a key role in shaping the future of the clinic and supporting preventative health throughout Ontario.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee all day-to-day operations of the clinic
Lead, coach, and support a close-knit team that includes our Clinic Admin Manager and Pharmacy Manager to provide superior patient care - and liaise with nursing leadership
Cultivate a supportive and engaging work environment where team members feel valued and motivated
Coordinate specialty pharmacy patient support programs with manufacturers
Monitor scheduling, budgeting, and inventory, while ensuring compliance with industry regulations
Monitor and report on clinic performance, implementing strategies to enhance efficiency and profitability
Stay informed on industry trends, changes in reimbursement policies, and treatment advancement
Collaborate with ownership to set strategic direction and execute plan with the team
Provide leadership in marketing initiatives (including digital media engagement, community outreach, and campaigns) to promote the clinic and build community connections and awareness
Support and lead the growth and development of clinic operations and expansion
REQUIREMENTS
3+ years of experience as a pharmacist with proven leadership in a clinic, pharmacy, or healthcare setting
Having an MBA or business background is an asset
Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and project management and development
Exposure and/or experience in marketing plan development and execution
Passion for inclusive, patient-centered care and community engagement
Strong team leader with a collaborative management style
Familiarity with clinic and pharmacy software systems
Deep understanding of Canadian pharmacy operations and healthcare compliance
Proactive mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and drive continuous quality improvement
