Director of FP&A for Growth Initiatives

What You\'ll Do:

- Act as the finance business partner to our teammates in other departments like Product, Engineering, Corporate, and Business Development teams for new product initiatives and revenue-generating business cases that support Trader\'s long-term strategic objectives

- Design, develop and publish reporting cadences for key financial and operating metrics for senior leadership

- Lead the budgeting and forecasting activities for new products and business initiatives with different internal stakeholders (e.g. executives, directors, budget coordinators, etc.)

- Manage and lead the weekly/monthly/quarterly financial and operational performance analysis process and associated reporting of budget and reforecast variances

- Advise a variety of stakeholders (Executives, Directors, and budget coordinators) on matters relating to budgets, forecasts, and performance variances against projected results

- Partner with the business (Product, Corporate/Business Development, etc.) to offer advice on business models and financial aspects of partnerships and acquisitions

What You Have:

- An ability to build trust with stakeholders and colleagues by continuously delivering impactful work

- Strong financial and/or operational modeling experience, including ROI analysis and business casing

- Great story-telling abilities and problem-solving methodology including outlining options and recommendations supported by financial analysis and business cases

- Understands how to lay out a business case including problem statement, options, recommendations supported by analysis

- Experience leading cross-functional projects, solid judgment, able to help teams make great decisions and recommendations supported by analysis and commercially reasonable assumptions

-An ability to bring a commercial lens to new product development

- Can work independently and collaborate with key functional stakeholders on commercial opportunities

- Can engage variety of stakeholders to inform and build support for their recommendation

- Proactive in getting things done and anticipating the needs of various stakeholders

What You\'ll Need:

- 7-10 years of FP&A and/or BizOps experience in a medium-to-large size highly matrixed organization and/or5-6 years Management Consulting or Investment Banking

- Must have strong Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint skills; Power BI (or similar), Python and/or SQL is a plus

- Must have excellent interpersonal, leadership, and story-telling skills

- Must align with EST working hours (+/- 1 hour)
