Directs and coordinates the entire food and beverage operation at the facility by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Markets Food and Beverage services to clients and establishes Food and Beverage control.
Creates Food and Beverage sales projections and budgets for facility events.
Develops event work plans including scheduling and ordering, and assigns appropriate duties to subordinates.
Establishes Inventory Par Levels & Reviews food and beverage lists submitted by each facility manager to determine that sufficient items are ordered weekly.
Prioritizes Workplace Culture & Team Development through strategic recruiting, training, and defined role responsibilities
Oversees Food and Beverage operations during event to ensure client satisfaction.
Maintains cost and quality control standards.
Inspects and maintains for compliance in both alcohol and food programs to ensure that equipment and food and beverage program meet requirements of AGCO and local Niagara public health and complying with internal regulations.
Analyzes information concerning facility operation such as daily food sales, patron attendance, and labor costs to prepare budget and to maintain cost control of facility operations.
Inspects and tastes prepared foods to maintain quality standards and sanitation regulations.
Maintain records and compile reports for management on a periodic basis.
Other duties as assigned.
Food and Beverage at Canada Games Park
As the independent operator at Canada Games Park, ASM operates the Cafe at CGP as an alternate location within the food and beverage department. This new piece of business may afford the F&B department additional revenue opportunities for both daily operations and catering services, as well as ancillary benefits to growing the department and retaining and developing staff. With these goals in mind, oversight and development of this location will continue to be within the prevue for the F&B Operation based at Meridian Centre.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages subordinate Catering, Concessions, Culinary Managers, Supervisors and part time employee program.
Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of any of these units.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with ASM Global's policies and applicable laws.
Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding; disciplining employees in conjunction with Human Resources; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree (BA) in Food & Beverage Management or related field preferred.
Minimum 5 years experience in management level position in Food & Beverage or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Prior supervisory experience a must
