About the Opportunity
- Lead and manage the month/quarter-end close process within IFRS.
- Recording all financial transactions and maintaining appropriate books of accounts for the company
- Monthly financial reporting and the preparation of annual/monthly financial statements which will include detailed notes to the financial statements
- Preparing cash flow projections and manage cash requirements and working capital
- Developing and monitoring business performance metrics
- Provide support to planning initiatives through financial and management information analyses
- Ensure SOX requirements are met and internal control processes are in place
- Assisting VP FP&A with forecasting and budgeting
- Manage the intercompany accounting process among multiple entities
- Support the audit (internal and external) audit processes
- Works with the business functions to streamline processes and improve accuracy of financial data
- Ad-hoc requests.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- CPA designation with 10+ years' experience
- Experience working within a public company and managing a team of 6+
- Experience with financial system and SOX implementation
- Excellent accounting and analytical abilities
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills
- High attention to detail
