Interactive Sports Technologies Inc., the independent leader in sports simulation--recognized globally for our HD Golf(TM) and HD SportSuite(TM) systems--is seeking a Director of Finance, HR and Admin to join our dynamic, growth-oriented team. This is a strategic leadership role in our head office, working closely with cross-functional teams and overseeing a staff of 55 employees.

The Director will report directly to the CEO/President and in close collaboration with the General Manager; the Director of Finance, HR and Administration will be responsible for the full scope of financial management, compliance, reporting, HR operations, and administrative support functions. We're looking for an experienced leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is systems-oriented, and brings a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Management

Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the Finance & Accounting department. Develop, implement, and monitor internal financial policies, controls, and procedures. Provide mentorship, coaching, and development to the accounting team. Collaborate with department heads to ensure financial transparency and drive informed decision-making. Identify business and financial risks, and recommend strategies to mitigate exposure. Oversee financial software systems and coordinate upgrades or system improvements. Drive the annual budgeting process, ensuring alignment with strategic goals. Oversee cash flow forecasting and treasury functions.
Financial Reporting & Analysis

Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Deliver in-depth financial analysis and performance insights to stakeholders. Manage reporting obligations for shareholders, banks, and other stakeholders. Prepare and submit royalty reports and other ad hoc financial reports. Maintain the corporate minute book and coordinate resolutions as required.
Compliance & Audit

Ensure compliance with all applicable federal and provincial tax laws, including GST/HST and payroll taxes. Act as the primary liaison with external auditors and manage the annual audit process. Maintain compliance with ASPE (Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises), GAAP. Support applications and documentation for government programs such as SR&ED (Scientific Research and Experimental Development).
HR & Administration

Develop, maintain, and enforce HR policies and employee handbook guidelines. Ensure all staff training programs are up-to-date and compliant with regulatory standards. Supervise and support the Administrative team including Front Desk and Data Entry Clerks. Coordinate and oversee employee onboarding, record-keeping, and related administrative functions.
Qualifications & Experience

CPA designation (CGA, CMA, or CA). Minimum of 8 years' of progressive experience in finance or controllership role. Strong knowledge of ASPE and Canadian tax regulations. Proven ability to lead and motivate teams in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Experience managing multi-currency accounting and inventory systems. Proficiency with Sage 300 ERP and advanced Microsoft Excel skills required. Experience with Salesforce and SR&ED claims considered a strong asset. HR-related experience is beneficial. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
