About Us

For nearly 40 years, The Laureate Academy has specialized in empowering students in Grades 1-12 who face learning challenges such as dyslexia, ADHD, and other learning differences. Through evidence-based teaching methods, The Laureate Academy has helped students build core academic and organizational skills, develop metacognitive strategies, and gain the confidence needed to thrive in university-preparatory environments. Laureate is defined by its deep belief in each child's potential, its commitment to the "whole student," and its collaborative approach among staff, families, and learners.

The Laureate Association is a newly formed charitable organization created to support the long-term growth and sustainability of The Laureate Academy. While the Association and the Academy currently operate as two separate entities, the vision is to evolve into a single, unified organization. This structure will be better suited to fulfill the school's mission and support its future growth.

About the Position

The Laureate Association is seeking a mission-driven and strategic leader to serve as its Director of Development. This person will strengthen the Association's capacity to support The Laureate Academy by driving fundraising, donor relations, and community engagement. The Director of Development will lead the Association's upcoming capital campaign, cultivating relationships with donors, foundations, alumni, and partners to drive transformational giving. As the Association evolves toward a more unified model with the Academy, this leader will play a pivotal role in shaping its future and ensuring its sustainability.
