: To help us deliver on our strategy, we are hiring a Director of Analytics Execution and Operations. Reporting to the VP, Data Science and Advanced Analytics, this role will influence our companies by leading activities and roadmaps to develop and integrate data analytics capabilities in business processes.
You will be a champion of the Data-Driven Enterprise, a dynamic leader in the Data Science and Advanced Analytics team broadly driving a culture of fact-based decision-making. You will advance the impact of organizational research, data analytics, and AI capabilities with a focus on customer experience & insights, process improvement, business engagement and value creation.
As an accomplished Data Analytics expert and leader, you will advocate for and prioritize analytics initiatives and align resources to deliver. You will lead a specialized team of data and analytics experts to ensure timely execution of critical projects and proactive communication with senior business leaders. You will bring thought leadership on strategic analysis, business optimization and initiative design, aligned with market standards and organizational practice.
This role will have the following accountabilities:

• Organizational Strategic Planning

• Actively engage with executive sponsors and business leaders to identify and prioritize a portfolio of analytics projects
• Establish and execute plans for advanced analytics and AI projects in support business priorities
• Act as subject matter expert on data and analytics development and integration
• Be a thought leader on business planning, strategic analysis, artificial intelligence, process optimization, initiative design
• Create and track execution of the Data Analytics Center of Excellence roadmap aligned with business and tech deliverables

• Data Analytics Operations

• Develop and track the Data Science & Advanced Analytics delivery plans
• Establish protocols and manage delivery for market research, business analytics and machine learning initiatives
• Have direct oversight of the Analytics Operations team
• Prioritize work of the Data Platform Development team required to execute the mandate
  

• Analytics Project Execution

• Proactively identify opportunities and risks to organizational projects and initiatives associated with data and analytics capabilities and roadmaps
• Lead investigations to identify business opportunities requiring complex analytical and machine learning solutions
• Lead collaborations with the business on better decision making and innovation
• Communicate proactively with senior leaders on status of research programs and data science operations
  

The successful candidate will have the following attributes:

• Capable of navigating a dynamic and complex organization, managing multiple stakeholders\xe2\x80\x99 needs and expectations
• Intuition to \xe2\x80\x9clisten beyond the words\xe2\x80\x9d to capture tertiary needs of the business, before conducting any data and analytics development
• Strategic thinking abilities to align data analytics and research with enterprise trajectory and influence business decisions
• Thought leader on business planning, strategic analysis, advanced analytics and AI, process optimization, initiative design
• Presence and gravitas to effectively present insights to senior leadership
• Expert knowledge of technical disciplines of data and business analytics, machine learning, agile development practices and tools
• Advanced level organizational and project management skills and tools (e.g. JIRA, Workfront, Monday.com)
• Practical knowledge and experience with BI and AI development, governance, architecture
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• 7+ years of analytical experience and leading a team in business analytics/BI and/or in developing and implementing BI and AI techniques
• Skills and understanding in wealth and asset management, sales and marketing science, ML techniques, statistical tools
• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree required, post graduate degree desirable. Preferably in computer science, statistics, mathematics, data science or management analytics.
