We are hiring a Director, Loyalty & Consumer Insights

Reporting to the Vice President, Loyalty & Analytics, the Director will be responsible for providing objective, value-added analysis and recommendations to facilitate discussions & decisions related to high profile initiatives at Shoppers Drug Mart and Joe Fresh. Leveraging the rich customer data from Canada\xe2\x80\x99s leading loyalty program, PC Optimum, the Director will lead a team of analysts to guide our loyalty strategy and execute campaigns in collaboration with Marketing, Operations and Merchandising.

What You\'ll Do:

  • Accountable for $400M+ Loyalty P&L, and managing variance to budget and forecast
  • Lead the execution of loyalty campaigns at Shoppers Drug Mart and Joe Fresh, in collaboration with Marketing and Merchandising teams
  • Provide thought leadership to senior management on loyalty program strategy, and find opportunities to increase incremental sales generated by loyalty promotions
  • Build and strengthen partnerships with internal stakeholders, and identify opportunities to improve our loyalty program experience and grow share of wallet with our customers
  • Synthesize large amounts of data from multiple sources, including customer transaction data, consumer & syndicated research, market share, and campaign results. Extrapolate and interpret appropriate information to deliver value add recommendations
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and identify development opportunities to drive personal growth of 5 direct reports
  • Identify and implement new processes to enhance the team\xe2\x80\x99s efficiency
What You\'ll Need:
  • Minimum 6 years related work experience in an analytical role. Experience ideally in Retail, CPG industry, Consumer Finance, or Telecommunications
  • Demonstrated results leading and developing team of analysts
  • Strong relationship management and ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • Ability to synthesize large amount of data into insights
  • Demonstrated strong business acumen
  • Self-starter. Comfortable with high degree of ambiguity
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint
  • Working knowledge of SQL, or Python is an asset
