As our Director, Information Technology we are counting on you to:
Oversee the Information Technology (IT), developing governance and policies, standards for request for service response, etc.
Responsible for the health and lifecycle of applications running in the organization, including recommendations for enhancements, or decommissioning when required.
Design and implement short and long-term strategic plans to ensure infrastructure capacity meets existing and future requirements.
Develop IT strategies in collaboration with senior leadership.
Develop digital solution strategies in collaboration with senior leadership.
Develop data strategies in collaboration with senior leadership.
Make recommendations on products, services, protocols, and standards in support of all infrastructure procurement and development efforts.
Oversee service level agreements with business units, developing and executing IT architecture solutions.
Develop and plan infrastructure security measures.
Ensure the organization\xe2\x80\x99s cyber-security is improved regularly.
Set priorities for the design, maintenance, development, and evaluation of all infrastructure systems, including LANS, WANs, Internet, intranet, security, wireless implementations.
Oversee various upgrade projects, improvements, and other conversions.
Oversee network and server performance and provide performance statistics and reports; develop strategies for maintaining network and server infrastructure.
Manage operational costs; conduct near and long-term financial forecasts for expanded functionality / user base.
Oversee the operations of a structured ticketing system, developing governance and policies, standards for request for service response, etc.
Prioritize life-cycle management of all information solutions equipment and technology including security systems, cash recyclers, ATMs etc.
Provide oversight and responsibility for all IT security including PCI compliance, cyber security, mobile security, etc.
Develops and implements business continuity protocols to minimize disruption to business operations in the event of emergency situations or data loss.
Establishes efficiency and efficacy standards, providing recommendations for improvement of IT infrastructure.
Analyzes IT infrastructure and systems performance to assess operating costs, productivity levels, upgrade requirements, and other metrics and needs.
Facilitates IT security audits or investigations.
Develops and maintains relationships with external vendors and service providers.
Develop and manage department annual operating & capital budget.
What you bring to the table:
Post-secondary education is required; a degree in Computer Sciences is preferred.
Seven to ten years of equivalent experience is expected; minimum of five years in a leadership role is expected.
Professional designations such as MCITP and ITIL are also considered an asset.
A combination of education and experience may be considered.
