As the Director of HR Programs, you will lead our enterprise Learning & Development (L&D), culture, community and engagement initiatives. As a key member of our HR leadership team, you will be responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring a comprehensive learning and development framework and employee engagement strategy. In addition you will provide oversight to our culture strategies that promote a culture of inclusion, and our community giving initiatives in collaboration with our employee resource groups(ERGs).

Further, the role is accountable for defining, testing and gaining adoption for a future focused programs that are aligned to FCT values, employment brand and enterprise initiatives.

HERES HOW YOULL CONTRIBUTE:

  • Lead the creation, design and deployment of HR programs & culture for all phases of the employee lifecycle with the objective of increasing and sustaining FCTs ability to retain and engage top talent to drive business results.
  • Collaborate with the business and broader HR team to ensure alignment form both a culture and strategy perspective
  • Lead and develop a team of HR professionals, ensuring each team member is engaged by providing them with vision and challenge, embracing coaching opportunities and guiding to high performance while embracing and consistently demonstrating FCT values
  • Stay current on L&D programs, engagement and culture best practices and trends that will keep FCT relevant in the market and enable the attraction and retention of top talent within the context of FCTs strategy and culture.
HERES WHAT YOULL BRING:
  • Strong business acumen, ability to think & partner strategically
  • Subject matter expert in learning and developmnent
  • Experince with engagment platforms, community giving initiatives, event management, leading employee resource groups
  • Superior written and oral communicator
  • Ability to influence/work with senior leaders
  • Effectively manage external relationships
  • Experience managing multiple budgets
  • 10+ years progressive HR experience including several years of experience at the advisory/leadership level
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Human Resources or related field such as Business Administration
  • CHRL designation is an asset
