Overview

The Director, Finance - eCommerce is accountable for executing the e-commerce strategy to deliver the e-commerce P&L, including providing financial information to make key decisions to improve financial performance and long-term sustainability of the e-commerce business.

Key Accountabilities

• Business unit financial planning and analysis deliverables, including period end reports, forecasts, and budget submissions
• All operational finance initiatives, working with Merchandising, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams to hit financial targets
• Performing financial analysis that identifies and evaluates opportunities to enhance sales & profit for the e-commerce business
• Providing insights and recommendations for decisions, through hypotheses, research, facilitated discussion and data analysis
• Communicating e-commerce financial, strategic, and business results to core team, management team, and Board of Directors as required

Job Requirements

• 10 years experience working in consulting or finance at top tier firm
• Professional finance / accounting designation (CA, CGA, CMA) or equivalent experience
• Problem solving skills and analytical capabilities
• Strategic thinking and tactical execution
• Communication skills and proficiency with PowerPoint
• Passion for consumers, e-commerce and retail
• Thrive in fast paced entrepreneurial environment
• Post-secondary degree optional, MBA from top tier business school preferred
