We love the culture and we work hard to live our values and protect them as we scale. In This Role, You Will:
  • Be part of our disruptive strategy to ?roll up? hundreds of clinics with good cash flow
  • Lead the entire valuation and merger and acquisition advisory lifecycle with a strong mix of operational and strategic planning.
  • Gather important information regarding risks and opportunities for impending and ongoing M&A transaction mandates, translating this information into fact-based and well-reasoned strategic insights on the valuation and structural impact of the merger or acquisition.
  • Serve in an analytical capacity where you will assist with modelling and financial analysis of impending transactions.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners
  • Complete month end activities, including Board reporting packages
  • Perform financial management duties including generating financial data, compiling and submitting reports, analyzing industry trends and assessing the financial health of the company.
  • Oversee the operations and development of the company?s finance departments including creating and reviewing policies, budgeting, recruiting, training and conducting regular assessments of financial procedures.
  • Supervise the preparation of quarterly and annual account reconciliations, monitor and enforce compliance with tax and financial reporting standards and assist with cash flow forecasting.
  • Advise colleagues and executive management on decisions related to the company?s finances.
  • Supervise the documentation of the company?s financial status and forecasts.
  • Mediate between the organization, employees, stakeholders, shareholders and investors on financial issues for amicable resolution of differences.
  • Create strategic business plans based on the analysis of the company?s status and financial forecasts
  • Manage the month end process including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation
  • Liason with the external tax preparer to complete quarter end and year end filings (GST, HST, Tax returns)
  • Prepare cash forecast (13 week and monthly cash forecasts)
  • Complete month end FP&A commentary and analytics on trends
  • Manage a team of finance managers and clerks
  • Report to CEO
About You:
  • Minimum 8 years? experience in a fast past finance team
  • Experienced in M&A, healthcare industry, and small business accounting
  • Bachelor?s degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent work experience. MBA, CPA, CFA or CBV would be preferred.
  • Proven work experience in a leadership capacity within a fast-paced, highly competitive, and dynamic financially oriented environment.
  • Demonstrated experience making effective decisions through the analysis of information, including proficiency in deal analysis, negotiation, and execution.
  • Passion for research and analysis, being highly skilled in efficiently analyzing large data quantities and driving financial modelling and due diligence.
  • Ability to process raw information and data, translating this into actionable insights for informed decision-making.
  • Ability to work on multiple simultaneous projects and meet aggressive deadlines.
