What You'll Be Doing

Reporting to the Senior Director, Everyday Investments, you are accountable for strategic initiatives which will drive deposit balance growth, profitability and deliver a purpose driven client experience across Broker and Investors Edge GICs and High Interest Savings Accounts (e.g Renaissance HISA). You must be comfortable collaborating and influencing others to adopt a course of action across various lines of businesses, distribution channels and sales advisors. As a product portfolio leader, you ultimately own your products - the brand, the balances, the profitability and the experience.

How You'll Succeed

  • Strategic Initiatives: Create, own and deliver annual strategic plans to drive profitable balance growth through pricing modernization, sales advisor and channel distribution strategy, investment recommendations and client experience objectives. You are directly accountable for revenue growth for Broker and Investors Edge GICs and High Interest Savings Accounts (e.g Renaissance HISA) portfolios.
  • Sales Strategy: Define and execute against a vision to grow deposit balances by managing overall pricing strategy, advisor commission structure and rates, and product technology architecture. Design an effective sales and distribution strategy that captures market opportunities, product knowledge requirements and evolving client and sales advisor needs and banking preferences. Monitor the market and competitive environment (consumer, technology, competition and government/regulatory agencies) and use the insights to develop strategies and recommendations to grow our portfolio and evolve our products, pricing, and experiences
  • Relationship Management: Develop and maintain business relationships with across various lines of business, client segments, sales advisors and other partners and stakeholders. Foster relationships and collaborate with key internal partners (all CIBC lines of business and infrastructure groups) to create revenue and profit opportunities that deliver underlying value and strengthen our client relationships. Work closely the partners to execute effectively, to optimize sales and growth across distribution channels, to build positive client experiences, and ultimately drive portfolio growth
