What you\xe2\x80\x99ll be doing

The Director, Capital Markets Talent Programs is accountable for supporting the design, development and delivery of strategic talent programs for CIBC\'s global Capital Markets business.

You\xe2\x80\x99ll work with the VP, Inclusion and the VP, HR, Capital Markets to build strategic talent plans to support the identification and development of high potential talent across Capital Markets. You will be a key contributor in the management of the Executive Director and Managing Director selections process and, working in collaboration with other partners, you will be a key contributor in the design, development and implementation for projects, initiatives and events.

You\xe2\x80\x99ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you\xe2\x80\x99ll spend 1-2 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.

How you\xe2\x80\x99ll succeed

Leadership of programs/projects \xe2\x80\x93 Lead and support the implementation of Capital Markets talent and people related programs such as formal Selection processes, ensuring project deliverables are completed according to work plans.

Strategic consulting - You leverage your past experience to provide leadership, specialized advice and integration support to key stakeholders and senior leaders across the Capital Markets business. You have the ability to think strategically about how you can mobilize and engage teams across the enterprise to deliver strategic objectives.

Relationship building - You act both autonomously and collaboratively. You forge strong relationships with various teams, by working with internal and external partners, to ensure the development and co-ordination of critical deliverables for successful implementation.

Organizational excellence with a sense of urgency - You have a proven ability to handle complexity and competing priorities with organization, attention to detail, a sense of urgency and strong problem solving skills.

Who you are

You have a track record of success in Human Resources with progressive levels of responsibility and proven experience in strategizing, architecting and implementing initiatives and/or processes in a large organization.

Knowledge and experience on talent strategies, people strategies and succession management. Experience in researching, designing and delivering strategic people programs or other talent management solutions.
