Job Title Associate, NSTP Capital Markets


















What is the opportunity?

The incumbent will support the Director, Global Supplier Management in managing the NSTP program by supporting the development of the Capital Markets High Risk program as project coordinator, collaborating with Enterprise program management team, and developing communications to stakeholders. The incumbent will onboard and risk assess the full inventory of High Risk Non Supplier Third Party engagements identified in the program in conjunction with the designated Supplier and Category Managers in accordance to ETPR policy and standards. As a NSTP Program Subject Matter Expert, develop various aspects of the program including training, communication and performance requirements while providing guidance to Non Traditional Supplier Managers, and members of the SMO team. **Please note this is a hybrid work arrangement with 3 days in office every alternate week and all other days remote** What will you do?
  • Facilitate the SRMA Archer based risk assessments (full end to end process) and ongoing collection of due diligence required by Third party Policy and NSTP Standard.
  • Support the Director, GSM in roll out of the CM NSTP program acting as project coordinator
  • Serve as a central point-of-contact for Non Traditional Supplier Managers and Category Owners and other Business Unit stakeholders in the management of the NSTP Program
  • Support business partners in managing performance monitoring and oversight through reviews and documenting required post-contract activities (SOC reviews etc.)
  • Manage inventory through maintenance and assignment of category and owner.
  • Liaise with required teams for CMACS (user access control monitoring) implementing SSO, and coordinate Enterprise Architecture review.
  • Identify risk findings during risk assessments and support Enterprise IT Risk to develop action plans and close issues.
  • Act as a SME in compliance activities, and assist relationship managers in meeting third party and outsourcing compliance requirements; provide assistance on internal & external audits as required
  • Educate NSTP stakeholders on program including ongoing communication through email, content creation for RBC Connect and Newsletters.
What do you need to succeed? Must-have
  • University Degree in Business or related field
  • 3 years in related role (Third Party Risk, Capital Markets Products/IT, Supplier Management)
  • Project management certification or advanced skills
  • Analytical mindset
  • Proven ability to partner with key internal/external risk stakeholders – ETPR/GRM, Suppliers
  • Excellent presentation skills, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of CAPITAL MARKETS Categories, products and broad organizational awareness
Nice-to-have
  • Knowledge of SRMA Archer and Ivalua applications
  • Previous RBC experience
