Job Summary: To sell Bora Pharmaceutical’s CDMO services primarily in North America, and secondarily globally. Develops sustainable business relationships at key levels within current and potential customer companies, sells services to meet individual, divisional and corporate goals and objectives. Targets high priority accounts, concentrating efforts where ROI is the greatest. Duties and responsibilities are complex in nature, broad in scope and require considerable professionalism, judgment, motivation, knowledge, initiative and motivation to meet sales and financial goals. Professionally represents the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plans and prioritizes personal sales activities and client/prospect contact and conducts themselves with the highest professional, ethical, and moral standards.
  • Plans and manages territory business portfolio according to an agreed market development strategy and sales plan.
  • Maintains and develops existing and new clients using the latest consultative selling practices and relevant functional department liaisons to optimize service quality, business growth, and customer satisfaction.
  • Prepares and follows-up on proposals to customers.
  • Uses customer and prospect contact activity tools and systems, and updates relevant information, including proposals held in these systems.
  • Monitors and reports on market and competitor activities and provides relevant reports and information.
  • Communicates, liaises and negotiates internally and externally to facilitate the development of profitable business and sustainable relationships.
  • Attends and presents at external client meetings and internal meetings with other departments necessary to perform duties and aid business development.
  • Attends training and develops relevant knowledge, techniques and skills.
  • When appropriate, takes clients and prospects on tours of the facility including laboratory and manufacturing areas while ensuring visitors and his/herself adheres to Bora’s safety requirements.
  • Maintain proper remote working environment.
  • Assists Department by recommending improved policies and procedures.
  • Adheres to Bora’s Corporate Governance and EH&S policies and other industry requirements.
  • Performs other duties as needed.

Experience: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 5-7+ years’ experience in business development preferably in the pharmaceutical CMO/CDMO industry.

Core Competencies:
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry, terminology, and the latest consultative selling techniques.
  • Recent in-depth client interaction in the CMO/CDMO industry.
  • In depth knowledge of drug development and manufacturing process and the role of CDMO's and CMO’s.
  • Strong presentation and sales skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
  • Professionalism, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to conceptualize problems and solutions.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.

Travel Requirements: Travel is estimated at around 50%.
