As the Director of Business Relations and Development, you will be at the forefront of our growth initiatives, cultivating sustainable partnerships, identifying new opportunities, and ensuring the visibility of our expertise in the market. Your leadership will directly contribute to positioning our organization as a key player in the sector, while closely collaborating with our internal teams to achieve our ambitious goals.
Specific tasks:
Strategic Development and Business Relations:
Business Relations Development: Create and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
Strategic Development Vision: Analyze the market, identify opportunities in collaboration with the organization, and ensure the competitiveness of services
Development Strategy: Develop winning strategies for key targets and ensure alignment across internal teams.
Support to business units: Support the leaders of various specialties by co-determining the best way to help them achieve their targets, identifying and developing relationships with new and existing clients and consultants.
External Vision and Communication:
External Representation: Participate in events, meetings, and committees to increase the visibility of the company and its key members.
Communication and Marketing: Collaborate with internal teams to create documents that communicate our offering, ensuring the messaging is clear and aligned with the company's business development strategy.
Operational Management and Steering:
Submission Management: Contribute to the preparation of RFQs and proposals and ensure their follow-up.
Pipeline Forecasting and Monitoring: Ensure CRM updates and periodically define a snapshot of the pipeline status, including the implementation of a methodology to estimate success rates. When needed, develop recommendations to adjust targets based on market trends.
Skills and experience:
In-depth knowledge of the construction industry and local stakeholders.
Expertise in public sector policy, agendas, and budgets.
Technical knowledge of the types of projects and contracts tendered in our industry, as well as trends in procurement models.
Strategic vision and analytical skills. Understanding of market developments and potential impacts on our business to adapt our commercial strategy.
Relational leadership and ability to develop strong and sustainable partnerships.
Excellent influential communication, both oral and written.
Experience in business development and pipeline management, including overseeing submissions and proposals.
Collaborative spirit and organizational agility to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
Assist with preparation of marketing initiatives including social media, special events, conferences, print and online material, presentations, and reports
Document meeting outcomes and actions, following up with responsible individuals and participating in national BD meetings both virtual and in person
Coordinate intake of client requests for prequalification information and expressions of interest, ensuring all documentation is received, tracked and distributed as appropriate
Travel to our offices in different regions may be required.
