Responsibilities and Duties

Operation and maintenance of drilling/bore equipment & locator (Ditch Witch, Vermeer) Read and interpret project plans, diagrams and locates Performs work including, drilling and or box locating, plus installation of conduits for various cables Able to lead, coach and mentor new employees Work under customers' standards related to horizontal directional drilling; adhering to site specific rules and regulations Maintains and records accurate daily drilling activities Performs all other duties as required by supervisor/manager

Job Qualifications:

Hold valid Ontario G drivers license, with a clean abstract (AZ/DZ license is a strong asset) Ability to read plans and locates is a must Experienced preferred with minimum 2 years directional drilling experience Experience in operation of heavy machinery Relevant telecom experience or construction experience preferred Knowledge of fibre and conduit installation an asset Ability to work in varied outdoor weather conditions Ability to lift 50 + pounds

Pay: $25.00-$32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 44 per week
