Sous la supervision du directeur de l'usine, le directeur de la production joue un role essentiel dans la supervision de tout le processus de fabrication, assurant une exploitation fluide aux etapes de la production, de la finition et de la mise en caisse. Ce poste exige une bonne coordination avec plusieurs services afin d'optimiser les flux de travail, de gerer les horaires de production et de maintenir les normes de securite et de qualite les plus elevees. En tant que directeur de la production, vous gererez l'efficacite, l'uniformite et la conformite et vous vous assurerez que tous les aspects de la production se derouleront sans heurts tout en atteignant les objectifs operationnels.

Ce que ce poste vous offre



Superviser et optimiser tout le processus de fabrication en encourageant l'efficacite et la qualite. Developper des competences de leadership tout en travaillant en etroite collaboration avec des equipes interfonctionnelles dans un environnement dynamique. Jouer un role cle dans la mise en place des methodes de fabrication lean, Six Sigma et l'amelioration des processus pour optimiser l'exploitation. Ayez un impact concret en dirigeant des projets d'envergure et en contribuant aux objectifs strategiques de l'usine.

Vos taches



Leadership operationnel



Superviser les operations quotidiennes a l'usine, en s'assurant de respecter les horaires de production et les attentes des clients. Affecter des travailleurs et du personnel de soutien selon les demandes de production et la disponibilite de l'equipement. Gerer le rendement du personnel, faire des evaluations regulieres et mettre en place des programmes de formation continue. Travailler en etroite collaboration avec le directeur de l'usine, le directeur de la chaine d'approvisionnement et le directeur des services techniques pour assurer une exploitation fluide. Mener des initiatives d'amelioration des processus a toutes les etapes de la production.

Securite et conformite



S'assurer que toutes les reglementations de sante et de securite sont respectees et gerer proactivement les risques. Integrer des systemes de securite d'usine dans les flux de travail et maintenir des normes elevees de securite. Mener des enquetes en cas d'incident a l'aide d'outils structures comme l'analyse des 5 pourquoi.

Gestion de la qualite et de l'efficacite



Travailler avec le directeur de la qualite pour maintenir des normes de production elevees. Analyser les donnees de production afin de deceler les goulots d'etranglement et mettre en place des methodes lean et Six Sigma. Prendre des decisions strategiques concernant les heures supplementaires, la dotation de personnel et l'affectation des ressources.

Perfectionnement des employes et motivation



Diriger, encadrer et creer une equipe hautement performante, incluant des superviseurs de la production, des chefs d'equipe et des programmeurs de CNO. Favoriser une culture de relations positives entre les employes, de responsabilisation et de travail d'equipe.

Competences pour prosperer a ce poste



Un fort leadership et des competences en gestion d'equipe pour motiver les employes et les perfectionner. Excellentes capacites en resolution de problemes et analyses pour gerer efficacement et surmonter les difficultes de production. Capacite de gerer plusieurs taches en meme temps, de prioriser les charges de travail et de respecter les delais de production. Connaissances approfondies des processus de fabrication, des reglementations de securite et des pratiques d'assurance de la qualite.

Qualifications



Baccalaureat dans un domaine pertinent ou experience equivalente Bilingue en francais et anglais exige : + Ce poste releve indirectement de la direction aux Etats-Unis, le candidat doit donc avoir une bonne connaissance de l'anglais, autant a l'ecrit qu'a l'oral.
+ Comme les candidats seront evalues par notre service des ressources humaines aux Etats-Unis, priere de soumettre une version anglaise de votre curriculum vitae.
Minimum de 5 ans d'experience averee en leadership dans un environnement manufacturier, idealement dans un role similaire Connaissance des methodes de fabrication Lean, Six Sigma et d'amelioration des processus. Comprehension des reglementations en sante et securite dans un environnement de fabrication.

Baccalaureat en fabrication, operations, ingenierie ou domaine connexe un atout. Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Production Manager plays a critical role in overseeing the entire manufacturing process, ensuring seamless production, finishing, and crating operations. This position requires strong coordination with multiple departments to optimize workflow, manage production schedules, and uphold the highest quality and safety standards. As Production Manager, you will drive efficiency, consistency, and compliance, ensuring that all aspects of production run smoothly while meeting operational goals.

What You'll Do:



Operational Leadership



Manage daily plant operations, ensuring production schedules and customer expectations are met. Assign workers and support staff based on production demands and equipment availability. Lead and direct staff performance, conduct regular reviews, and implement continuous training programs. Work closely with the Plant Manager, Supply Chain Manager, and Technical Services Manager to ensure seamless operations. Lead process improvement initiatives across all phases of production.

Safety & Compliance



Ensure all health and safety regulations are met and proactively address risks. Integrate plant safety systems into the workflow and maintain high safety standards. Conduct incident investigations using structured tools like 5-Why analysis.

Quality & Efficiency Management



Work alongside the Quality Manager to maintain high production standards. Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and implement Lean and Six Sigma methodologies. Make strategic decisions on overtime, staffing, and resource allocation.

Employee Development & Engagement



Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, including Production Supervisors, Team Leads, and CNC Programmers. Foster a culture of positive employee relations, accountability, and teamwork.

Qualifications



Bachelor's degree in a pertinent field or equivalent experience required. Bilingual - French and English proficiency required : + This position reports indirectly to U.S.-based management, which requires strong English communication skills (spoken and written)

Education and/or Experience



Technical CEGEP Diploma in a related field, Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience required. 5-7 years' demonstrated experience and proven results in leading a group or organization. Supervisory and leadership experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience with the application of Lean methodologies.
