GarDel Metal Products is a Sheet Metal/Machining Custom Fabrication Company that produces custom Sheet Metal/Machined components and assemblies for the Aerospace, Defense and Medical Industries.

We are looking for a Production Manager for day shift with minimum 5 years experience working on the floor with an additional 5 years experience in a Supervisory role.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining quality standards, and leading a team of production staff. This role requires strong mechanical knowledge and experience in a manufacturing facility, with a focus on assembly line operations.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience in Sheet Metal/ Machining/Welding with an additional 5 years in a Management Position for a total of 10 years experience in the same industry.

Duties

Manage daily production activities to ensure efficiency and quality standards are met. Supervise and train production staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Monitor equipment performance and conduct regular maintenance checks to minimize downtime. Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the manufacturing facility. Analyze production metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary. Coordinate with other departments such as quality control, logistics, and supply chain to optimize production workflows. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and forklifts safely and effectively in daily operations.

Experience

Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, in a supervisory or management role. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience, 5 years minimum. Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory management practices. Past experience with Brake Presses, Laser, Cnc Punch, Machining, Welding.
