When an entire city needs to be rendered into a 3D model in-flight, utilities buried deep under soil need to be uncovered, highly complex infrastructure projects need to be implemented and even when crime scene investigation needs to be documented - that's Leica Geosystems, part of Hexagon. More than 5'000 employees in 33 countries help us develop the latest technologies for Reality Capture, survey and measurement.We currently have an opportunity for a Reality Capture Direct Sales Representative for the cities of Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver, or Quebec. French speakers are a plus! Activities will be focused on developing, maintaining and managing sales opportunities for Leica Geosystems within the scanning industry in the assigned territory. Sales of software and hardware solutions included. This is a remote position, but frequent travel (50% or more) to the cities listed is required. Compensation is over 160K with commission.Job FamilyTechnical Service & SupportDesired SkillsWHAT YOU GET TO DO:

• Increase market share through the development of scanning business with new and existing customers in the region
• Assist existing customers by providing product and application training; job site demonstrations, installation scheduling, assist in field troubleshooting
• Provide input on competitive products and activities
• Develop and implement sales plans and strategies to promote growth of Leica's Reality Capture product portfolio and achieve sales targets
• Manage sales leads through to closure and monitor against approved budgets to ensure financial results are on, or ideally above, target and implement plans to counteract deviations
• Present and demonstrate Reality Capture products and associated benefits for customers and resellers
• Negotiate sales contracts and associated product supply milestones

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Strong mechanical aptitude (must have experience with scanning applications), 2+ years of sales experience in scanning products or practical use of scanning products within the land surveying industry
• Experience in Survey and/or Building Construction is required.
• A Bachelor's degree in Civil or Surveying Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred but not required
• Strong presentation skills especially to groups and forums of customers
• Frequent travel required
• Bilingual in English and French is an asset
