What is the Opportunity?

As Digital Publishing Specialist, you will play an instrumental role in bringing the insights and content of the RBC Economics & Thought Leadership team to life through engaging interactive visual presentations and unique digital user experiences. You will manage all aspects of digital publishing, the integration of new multimedia tools, and tracking and analyzing our digital performance. You will also design and implement graphics and visualization. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team and help deliver world-class, visually engaging thought leadership content.

What will you do?

  • Manage and execute publishing for the RBC Economics and Thought Leadership website, including supporting and training all content publishers on publishing tools and systems
  • Drive the evolution of our web-based publishing approach and design, including the implementation of new tools and systems, in collaboration with internal development teams
  • Track and monitor internal and external content metrics including web data, emails
  • Deliver succinct monthly analytics reports, highlighting insights and learnings to improve content
  • Design and implement interactive graphics and data visualizations
  • Support the conceptualization and design of digital assets, including reports, articles, and social media
What do you need to succeed?

Must-have
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience in marketing, digital design or publishing
  • 4+ years working experience in digital publishing, graphic design, web design and user experience, in a complex, knowledge-based environment
  • Advanced knowledge of Salesforce, WordPress, and Google Analytics
  • Strong familiarity and of understanding of economic, business and policy content and research
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver incisive insights through analytics
Nice-to-have
  • Experience in web development and knowledge of HTML
  • French language skills
  • Understanding of responsive design
  • Understanding of graphic production
