The Digital Product & Community Specialist is responsible for building and cultivating the community of adopters for all digital products at Southcentre Mall.

  • Executing local engagement strategies aligned to KPI\xe2\x80\x99s of each product
  • Collaborating with local and national colleagues to launch, on-board and off-board products as required.
  • As a member of the team, primarily responsible for on-the-ground promotion of initiatives, the Product Specialist will collaborate closely with Marketing Managers and SMBE\xe2\x80\x99s to ensure that messaging, programs, and metrics closely align with the strategy and marketing program built and maintained by national marketing strategies.
Reporting to Property Marketing Manager, The Digital Product & Community Specialist will support the user experience across the full cycle of the customer journey for all digital platforms and provide:

(Expertise & Ownership)
  • Oversee the site performance of the retail tech stack
  • Be the primary community champion and lead for digital products at Southcentre Mall with colleagues, employees, tenants, and shoppers
  • Be known as the best source of information for digital products at Southcentre Mall
  • Host workshops and trainings promoting products and applications with centre employees, tenants and regional meetings where required
(Collaboration)
  • Act as liaison with Southcentre Mall employees, tenants, specifically content owners and early adopters/end-users
  • Manage community engagement programs and on-the-ground activities related to the promotion of new products (launch & on-board)
  • Work with marketing team on execution of community marketing efforts as outlined in the marketing plan \xe2\x80\x93 promotion/adoption strategies.
(Analysis & Evaluation)
  • Collaborate with Data, Insights team for monthly and quarterly reporting
  • Provide actionable monthly analytics insight to ensure goals and objectives are achieved
  • Responsible for regular cadence of QC & QA for all products
  • Reporting and follow up of issues management with each digital vendor.
  • Provide feedback and execute improvements based on learned experience to product manager
  • Create, monitor, and evolve product feedback loop and share findings with national digital team
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across the business/national team/steering committee/sponsor to share learnings
What We\xe2\x80\x99re Looking For
  • Minimum 2 year in digital/user experience/site optimization/digital community management type role
  • Post-secondary education in Business/Commerce or Marketing, Digital Marketing
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills highlighted by excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent leadership capabilities
  • Knowledge of product feedback loop processes and project management tools
  • Excellent understanding of the evolving digital landscape and SEO best practices
