Digital Media Coordinator & Farmgate Retail Representative

Our Farmgate dispensary, Stewart's Herbal Dispensary in St. Stephen, NB, offers locally grown cannabis and handcrafted wellness goods in a welcoming boutique setting. As Charlotte County's first independent cannabis store, we're seeking reliable, organized, and enthusiastic help to create inviting and educational experiences for our customers.
On top of your responsibilities within our retail shop, we are also seeking someone with graphic design and video editing skills to assist our marketing department in between servicing our customers.
: You'll be a key player in our marketing and brand experience, helping to tell our story and build relationships to create meaningful interactions with customers, and will be integral to the day-to-day operations of the marketing team and dispensary. Your role involves:
Marketing Responsibilities
Thinking creatively and bringing new and fun ideas to the table.
Assisting the Director of Marketing and the Sales and Marketing Coordinator with basic video editing to support our online presence (mostly social media).
Collaborate with the team members on print projects such as in-store advertising, external sales sheets, printed ads and other advertising material.
Assist in the design and preparation of presentations, proposals, and other materials to help the sales team.
Designing digital graphics for Stewart Farms' social channels and other digital applications.
Assisting with admin work, such as coordinating project billing, obtaining quotes from print vendors, ordering materials and data tracking.
Keeping up-to date with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies.
Other design and marketing tasks as assigned.
Retail Responsibilities
Educate customers on Stewart Farms' cannabis and wellness products to drive repeat business and foster strong relationships.
Accurately process sales using the COVA POS system and manage daily cash handling and reporting.
Maintain precise inventory through regular counts and ensure organized stock and product availability.
Ensure full compliance with Health Canada, Cannabis NB, and internal policies; complete all required certifications and training.
Perform daily store operations, including opening/closing, merchandising, housekeeping, and task documentation.
Create compliant daily social media content in accordance with Canadian cannabis marketing regulations.
Use Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint, Teams, Slack, and other digital tools for communication and workflow.
Take initiative in a fast-paced, evolving environment; complete tasks independently and proactively.
Continuously update product knowledge through ongoing education and training.
Contribute to a clean, organized, and welcoming retail atmosphere.
Additional Requirements:
Minimum age of 19.
Consistent and reliable access to a vehicle.
Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically, Adobe Premiere Pro
+1 year of proven retail or customer service experience with positive customer interaction skills.
Demonstrated passion for cannabis and wellness education. If cannabis knowledge is limited, the candidate must have a willingness to learn
Criminal background check (required before interview, if selected).
Experience with COVA POS systems preferred. If not, willingness to learn.
Ability to learn and adapt quickly, with excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to use desktop computer platforms such as (365, SharePoint, Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Slack, Canva, WeedMaps, media uploading and downloading, and Sonos Radio streaming to Sonos.
Ability to use social media tools (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) and create branded content (posts, reels & stories, etc.) within the guidelines. If not, a willingness to learn.
Critical eye for cleaning and merchandising within the retail store.
Ability to lift boxes (5-30 lbs).
