Job Description

Reporting to the Manager, Content & Digital Media, the Content & Digital Media Coordinator will help the Ottawa 67's inform, entertain, and connect with fans on social media through standout, platform-specific content. With demand for 67's content continuing to grow, this is an opportunity to join a fast-paced, collaborative environment that reaches an audience of over 1 million fans online. While your primary focus will be on the Ottawa 67's, you'll also provide creative support for other OSEG properties, including the Ottawa REDBLACKS & Lansdowne Sports.


This full-time, permanent role has an annual salary range of $45,000 to $48,800, with 100% employer-paid benefits. The final compensation will be determined based on the successful candidate's experience and qualifications. This is a replacement position and offers flexibility to work in a hybrid arrangement.

What you'll do:

Lead the day-to-day strategy and posting for Ottawa 67's social channels, with additional support for REDBLACKS game days. Capture and share live content from practices, games, community events, and special activations. Produce platform-specific photo, video, and story content to entertain, inform, and engage fans. Manage the 67's social media content calendar, ensuring consistent posting and brand voice. Monitor, moderate, and engage with fan comments and messages across platforms. Track emerging trends and advocate for new content approaches, particularly on short-form video platforms. Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and maintains positive relationships with fans, players, coaches, and staff. Track, analyze, and report on key social media metrics, providing insights to improve performance. Collaborate with other departments to support marketing campaigns, ticket sales, and event promotions.

What you need:

1-3 years of relevant experience managing brand social media accounts (sports or entertainment experience preferred). Strong skills in video production, photography, and/or graphic design. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Premiere; Illustrator or After Effects) Understanding of social media analytics tools, content management systems, and SEO basics. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Familiarity with hockey and the Ontario Hockey League is required; knowledge of football and the CFL is an asset. Bilingualism in English & French is an asset.
