This Digital Media Buyer role requires you to perform various duties to develop, optimize, and execute successful digital advertising campaigns focussing on Google and Instagram.Responsibilities:
  • Working on SEM / PPC for paid ad platforms focusing on Instagram Ads, Google Ads and Google Analytics to build new campaigns, optimize existing campaigns and improve performance.
  • Reviewing and analyzing campaign performance data (e.g., within Google Analytics etc.) to develop actionable insights that assist with strategic planning, KPI improvement, and growth.
  • Collaborating with our Creative Digital Designers to develop creative ads that speak to the target audience.
  • Understands how to engage in targeted demographics, build brand awareness and work with algorithms.
  • Build, launch and monitor PPC Campaigns.
  • Manage the daily digital spends while staying within budget.
  • Develop reports based on findings and provide recommendations.
  • Work with other departments to ensure goal and strategy alignment, as well as to maintain brand identity.
  • Researching, designing & building paid social & programmatic programs.
  • Setting up, trafficking, and optimizing campaigns in Google Ads.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Post-secondary education in a related field
  • Excellent communication skills; Must be able to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel.
  • Self motivated and committed to understanding new technology, social media platforms, continuous learning, and self development.
  • You need to understand algorithms and be an Instagram and Google Ad Management expert
  • At least 2 years of experience working on SEM and PPC for paid search and social ad platforms with experience managing campaigns from A-Z including creation, tracking and tagging setup, optimizing budgets, and reporting on campaign performance.
  • At least 2 years of experience using Google Analytics, setting up conversion goals and UTM parameters for tracking.
  • PC skills; Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
