Work ArrangementsThis regular full-time (35 hours per week) position is available starting July 29, 2024. Regular hours of work are Monday to Friday, flexible shift times ranging between 7:30am to 5:30pm. Shift days and times may change depending on the Department\'s need. Occasional evening and/or weekend work may be required. The position is located at the New Westminster campus; however, successful candidate must be available for occasional work at the Coquitlam campus. The RoleReporting to the Digital Marketing Strategist, the Digital Marketing Specialist supports the Marketing and Digital Experience teams with the execution and maintenance of digital marketing email and paid campaigns, web writing style, proofreading and editing, as well as customer relationship management (CRM) and content management systems (CMS) training and administration.The position is responsible for building, maintaining and administering web writing style, Drupal CMS and Salesforce TargetX CRM training, as needed, as well as supporting the development, execution, maintenance and measurement of the College\'s digital marketing campaigns.
Responsibilities1. Supports Digital Marketing Strategist to develop creative concepts that inspire our audiences, supports marketing strategy, builds brand awareness and drives interest for student recruitment including the execution and maintenance of digital marketing paid and email campaigns.a. Create high-conversion landing pages in conjunction with the UI/UX Designer using Unbounce, Drupal or similar, including multiple versions for A/B testing;b. Build, maintain and measure multiple marketing campaigns and associated KPIs simultaneously using Google and Meta products such as Google Ads and Analytics, Facebook and Instagram;c. Set and maintain standards for digital traffic tracking;d. Creates or adjusts creative assets using design software such as Adobe Creative Suite;e. Build, deploy, track, optimize and measure conversion centered email campaigns using the College\'s CRM,f. Liaise with vendors as required and under the guidance of the Digital Marketing Strategist and Media Strategist and Buyer;g. Maintain confidentiality when supporting marketing projects pertaining to budget, new program or policy development;h. Proofread and edit copy for College style to ensure consistency.2. Optimizes use of College CRM and uncovers and implements keyword-based content opportunities.a. Using Search Engine Optimization (SEO) knowledge and tools such as Semrush, assess and implement content strategy recommendations based on content inventories, current state analysis, site audits, competitive assessments, user testing and metrics under the guidance of the Digital Marketing Strategist;b. Plan, create, add and maintain digital content for landing pages, websites, applications and other digital properties;c. Perform SEO keyword research, including discovery and expansion of keyword opportunities in order to increase traffic on College landing pages, websites, applications and other digital properties;d. Collaborate with and advise the UI/UX designer to keep content a priority through every step of the discovery and design process;e. Continually learn new techniques and best practices to keep current in web content strategy, usability, and accessibility fields;f. Continually explore CRM, uncovering new opportunities to market to prospective students, more effectively utilizing data, suggesting and implementing integrations and applying email marketing best practices and learnings;g. Continually researches and evaluates new digital advertising opportunities, and keeps up-to-date with changes to existing channels.3. Document CRM and CMS processes, benchmarks and best practices and provide CRM and CMS guidance for the College community.
a. Research, write and maintain all training documentation and resources including best practice one-pagers, checklists, dashboards and tracking measurements and report on metrics on a regular basis;
b. Produce, share and utilize templates to standardize work processes and create efficiencies;
c. Provide guidance on content for landing pages, websites, applications and other digital properties as needed;
d. Develop, maintain, and enforce content style guidelines for landing pages, websites, applications and other digital properties as needed.4. Performs other duties as assigned.
