• Collaborate with Marketing Specialists to develop compelling digital assets for social media, web, email, and eCommerce platforms, ensuring they align with our communication and marketing strategies.
• Drive social media campaigns by developing content, engaging followers, managing advertising campaigns, and analyzing performance metrics.
• Maintain and enhance the City\'s digital presence by creating and updating website content, developing email newsletters, and managing other email marketing initiatives.
• Pull and analyze data from digital marketing platforms to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns, making informed recommendations to enhance performance.
• Build strong working relationships with internal teams, media agencies, community groups, and other partners to execute digital marketing strategies.
• Strategize and execute initiatives to promote and grow our membership program.
• Attend city events to capture promotional content when required, showcasing the richness of Medicine Hat\'s cultural scene.

• A creative thinker who can visualize ideas and develop original content through photography, video production, and graphic design using tools like Adobe Creative Suite and Canva.
• The ability to analyze performance data, spot trends, and adjust marketing strategies to ensure effective community engagement.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with the flexibility to tailor messages to various audiences.
• A team player who thrives in an environment that values positive working relationships and clear communication.
• The ability to take initiative, work efficiently under pressure, and remain flexible in a fast-paced environment.

• A recognized two (2) year Diploma in Visual Communications, Graphic Art and Design, Marketing, or a related field from a recognized post-secondary institution.
• A minimum of five (5) years of proven experience in marketing and promotions, with at least three (3) years working with digital marketing tools in a business setting (social media, Google Display Ads, email marketing, websites).
• Demonstrated experience with content creation, social media management, email marketing, and analyzing digital campaign performance.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and business software for communication, analysis, and documentation.
• Experience with social listening tools is an asset.
