The person applying must be able to work in person at our London, Ontario location as part of a team. This is not a work from home position.
We are looking for someone with the following expertise and experience:
Photoshop or Similar for Graphic Design
Using Excel & AI Tools for data inputing and Data Management
Meta Tools - Including ads, Remarketing, Analytics, etc more
Google Certified and understand, ads, optimization, analytics and more
Using a DSLR Camera for taking Photos of products and the store for web and social content
Experience with shooting and editing videos for web and social content
Mailchimp experience, scheduling and sending email campaigns
Shopify web development and maintenance experience
You will be responsible for maintaining & managing the front & backend of Music City Canada's E-Commerce Site on Shopify. Maintaining product pages and content on our website. Managing the data going into our POS System. Making sure that all data is accurate and having an attention to detail. Creating and sending weekly emails to our clients. Creating, scheduling and posting social media posts & stories. Taking photos of products, the store and people for use on the website and socials.
Maintaining API connections for Shipping Partners and other 3rd party software we connect to.
Web content updates, developing new CMS template designs, implementing graphic designs, and CSS changes, developing content types as required into the CMS, and ensuring brand compliance and web best practices.
Optional but prefered to have coding experience to create, manage & customize Shopify Themes & the Shopify Custom App API to create custom adds to work within the webstore.
Develop and manage the execution of a strong marketing SEO content strategy and build SEO reporting dashboards.
Collaborate with various teams to create useful, engaging, and effective content.
Oversee writing style and tone for all website content, including advising on the development of content governance standards and guidelines, and ensuring compliance.
Monitor website usage using Google Analytics, and other web measurement tools to identify, analyze, and report on trends and issues.
Other duties as required.
What You Need to Succeed
Completion of a college program in Digital Marketing, Web Design, Web Development, or equivalent.
2-3 years experience in a digital marketing, web development, or digital strategy role.
Google experience and education using Ads, SEO, Shopping, Analytics, Optimization etc
Experience with web content management systems (e.g., CraftCMS, Drupal, WordPress, SiteCore), editing applications, and HTML/HTML5, CSS, PHP, MySQL, Javascript/jQuery, and code deployment processes (e.g., testing QA production) at a level sufficient to make changes or edits to existing site content.
Outstanding interpersonal communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to work with the business and technical leadership teams.
Experience in related digital marketing, site development / UX. Google Adds, email marketing, social media maintenance, experience working with Shopify, Lightspeed, Google Business, and Google Merchant Center.
Expertise with SEO tools like SEMrush, Google Search Console, GA4, specifically Analytics, Webmaster Tools, Tag Manager, etc.
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and other design applications.
Effective oral and written communication skills and a high level of proficiency in English grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop strong working relationships and to effectively interface with all levels of management, operational staff, customers, and external vendors.
Proven experience in social media management or digital marketing.
Strong understanding of SEO principles and how they apply to social media.
Familiarity with social media analytics tools to track performance metrics.
Experience with email marketing platforms like MailChimp is a plus
A passion for music and knowledge of musical instruments is highly desirable.
