ABOUT THE ROLE



This is a hands-on, multi-skilled role ideal for someone who loves both storytelling and strategy. You'll help create visually engaging content (reels, stories, web features, ads), manage our social media channels and website, and use analytics to refine our digital presence. You'll also help us organize and manage our content library, working alongside the creative and leadership teams to amplify our voice online.

You can expect to perform following activities as part of this role:

Plan, help create, and schedule high-quality content for social media (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.). Develop digital campaign assets (short videos, graphics, carousels, reels, stories, etc.). Manage and update website content (pages, blogs, events, SEO, accessibility). Write content for Focus Hub Inc.'s digital platforms, including social media, blog posts, newsletters, artist spotlights, and program pages. Build landing pages and coordinate media for digital storytelling projects. Monitor and report on content performance (Google Analytics, Meta Insights, etc.). Coordinate social media calendars and engagement strategies. Optimize content for reach, accessibility, and cultural relevance. Maintain digital asset folders, naming conventions, and organization systems. Stay up-to-date on digital trends and bring fresh ideas.

YOU'LL BE A GREAT MATCH IF YOU HAVE...



Strong skills in content creation (video editing, graphics, photography, writing). Proficiency with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (especially Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator), CapCut or equivalent. Experience managing social media accounts and content calendars. Comfortable with website CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Wix, Squarespace). Knowledge of SEO basics, digital accessibility, and responsive content. Familiarity with Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, and scheduling tools (e.g. Later, Buffer). Strong storytelling instincts and ability to write for digital audiences.

Nice to Have



Experience working with culturally diverse communities or non-profits is a strong asset. Experience with ad campaigns (Google Ads, Meta Ads). Photography and videography skills using a DSLR or smartphone. Basic HTML/CSS knowledge or experience with web troubleshooting. Familiarity with community arts, cultural programming, or equity-driven storytelling.
