The Location

Four Seasons Resort Whistler is located at the foot of Blackcomb and Whistler. The resort is a five-minute walk to the ski lifts and a 10-minute stroll to the village center, making it the perfect location for a rustic adventure any time of year.

Our guest rooms are spacious, beautifully re-styled in December, 2019, the refurbished rooms and suites pay close attention to the unique placement of Whistler \xe2\x80\x93 a secluded retreat, just an hour and a half away from the international destination of Vancouver.

In December 2020, we completed a property-wide enhancement with the launch of Braidwood Tavern, a craft kitchen and social house conceived in collaboration with celebrated chef and restauranteur Richard Sandoval, along with a re-imagined SIDECUT Steakhouse, both designed by Box Interior Design.

Your job:

Managing social media channels (primarily Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Threads, Pinterest, etc.) with input and support from the Director of Public Relations (PRD)

Generating creative and engaging photos, videos, and digital assets.

Liaising with restaurant, spa, and appropriate departments to create social media content, calendar, copy, year-round offers, promotions, and activations.

Strong graphic design component to create posters, ads, menus, flyers, etc (ensuring Four Seasons branding standards) for hotel, spa and restaurants

Monitoring social and marketing activities of competitive set hotels, other luxury brands and industries. Initiating conversations and building relationships with influencers, bloggers and media including coordinating hotel visits, stays and home deliveries.

Reviewing advertising, print, digital and other advertisements of the hotel.

Assisting with planning and implementing hotel packages and activations, handling of photo and video shoots, promotional and other special events.

Maintaining vendor relationships and supervising projects like printing, tracking ad schedules and reporting.

Creating presentation materials for marketing and budget presentations, as well as owner\xe2\x80\x99s, sales, marketing, and PR meetings including social and media coverage reports to Four Seasons.

Hourly Wage: $24.00-$26.00 per hour

As our hotel is open 24/7, 365 days a year, we expect flexibility in working mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

About You:

Must have graphic design background

Experience in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign

Must be able to present a portfolio

Strong command of the English language, both written and oral

Excellent commitment to service and teamwork

Ability to work in Canada
