Position Overview



The Digital Marketing Assistant works closely with the Marketing Manager to plan, create, and execute marketing campaigns across social media, email, and web platforms.

This role requires someone who is highly focused, organized, and capable of following detailed processes while learning new tools quickly. You will help maintain our online presence, assist with campaign execution, and ensure our product listings and brand content stay consistent and engaging.

This position offers room for growth with mentorship and the potential to expand into a Marketing Lead role as you develop expertise and confidence.

Key Responsibilities



Assist the Marketing Manager in developing and executing marketing and sales campaigns across digital platforms. Create and schedule engaging content (graphics, short videos, captions) using tools like Adobe Express, Canva, and AI-assisted writing tools. Edit short-form videos for social media using Adobe Express (video editing experience is a plus). Write and generate captions or product descriptions using AI tools, ensuring tone and message align with Yumo's brand. Manage social media accounts by posting across multiple platforms using Metricool, daily stories via Instagram and Facebook. Update the Shopify backend, including creating product pages, managing collections, and maintaining accurate product tagging and filters. Maintain visual consistency and ensure all digital assets reflect current promotions, sales, and seasonal campaigns. Collaborate with vendors, ambassadors, and team members to coordinate promotional content.

Skills & Qualifications



Passion for organization, systems, and processes, with a curiosity to learn how different tools connect. Strong ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently. High attention to detail, and ability to follow instructions accurately, especially when tagging, labeling, or uploading product data. Fast learner who enjoys exploring new technology and digital platforms. Basic knowledge of Adobe Express/Canva and Shopify is helpful but not required. Comfortable with using or learning tools like ChatGPT, Metricool, Omnisend, and Asana. Interest in learning e-commerce operations, analytics, and digital ad management. Self-motivated, reliable, and open to feedback and continuous learning. A genuine interest in retail marketing, content creation and community engagement is a plus. A Team Spirit attitude and willingness to grow into a larger role within the company.
