Reports to: Vice-President, PPF Media and Communications Location: Individual must be based in Ottawa or Toronto (Hybrid) Salary Range: $60,000-$70,000 Effective: March 2023 OVERVIEW The Digital Editor is responsible for digital branding and reaching PPF audiences across a range of platforms, as well as working as a chase producer for a new weekly podcast, finding guests and preparing research notes. This role requires that the incumbent use analytics to drive engagement and learnings throughout the organization. Strong writing and editing skills are a must. Other duties may be required. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Chase producer duties on a weekly podcast, including responsibility for finding and booking guests, producing research notes and helping to prepare the host across a range of topics.
• Oversee ppforum.ca, including PPF\xe2\x80\x99s content management system, working with web developers when necessary.
• Work as a social media editor, establishing a voice and presence for PPF across multiple social channels; on some channels, posting multiple times a day.
• \xc2\xb7Must be familiar with Word Press, SEO and the use of social analytics to develop audiences.
• Work with the VP PPF Media and the Editorial Director to establish and execute newsletter and podcast strategies.
• Use analytics to drive engagement and better serve PPF stakeholders.
• Other duties shall be assigned as required.

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS Must be engaged with issues, policy and PPF content.

• Bachelor\'s degree in English or Journalism, IT or other related discipline.
• Experience in writing, publishing or journalism preferred.

SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES

• Must be a strong writer and editor.
• Must be metrics-driven and show keen attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• French Language is a big asset.
• Initiative, reliability and good judgement.
